Through lookilulu.com and Jill’s Blog, we have a mission:

To empower young women of all colors to live lives they love and develop their full potential.

We believe in full equality for women.  Equality that isn’t subordination based on difference.

We believe biology doesn’t have to determine your destiny just because you were born female.

We believe a woman’s place is in the home — and in the world. Anywhere she wants to be.

We believe women can be leaders at the highest levels of government, business, politics and religion.

We believe women should be able to be presidents, preachers and popes and not limited because of their sex.

We believe women can be good mothers and have careers – not just jobs that mark time.

We believe women can create their own careers and find satisfaction in what gives them energy.

We believe women have the right to be taken seriously.

We believe women are human and violence against women is a human rights issue.

We believe women can have voices in the world.

We believe women can be independent, strong and bold.

We believe it’s not just a man’s world.  Women and children count too.

We believe in freedom from sexual slavery and forced “marriage.”

We believe women should be able to vote, own property, control their own wages, obtain custody of their children and control their own destiny — worldwide.

We believe women have the right to quality medical care during pregnancy and childbirth.

We believe women have a right to have an education and learn about the world.

We believe workplaces should be family friendly because it’s in everyone’s best interest.

We believe women have the right to be free from sexual harassment everywhere.

We believe that women have the right to control their own sexuality.

We believe that a woman doesn’t have to be a mother to have value. Just because a woman has a uterus doesn’t mean she has to be a mother.

We believe women contribute to the bottom lines of companies and make the world a better place.  ”Pink Power” is real.

We believe women should be able to fully develop their interests and talents.
